EVO CHOPPER
|
|
Don Nowell Design has 2 choppers.
The first is EVO Powered with a belt Drive and a foot clutch, which
hand shift linkage. The 40° head can be more if need be. This chopper
has a modern look with struts holding the rear fender. The choppers
can also be custom built to fit your needs.

KNUCKLE-CHOPPER
|
| This bike uses the same basic
frame with different mounts for the engine and transmission. This bike
has a more period look with the full rear fender and chrome sissy bar.
The running knucklehead engine is built by (Replica Engines in Gulliver,
MI) Replica sends cases, barrels and heads out to D.N.D. for special
work to be done (Polishing - Machining - Painting). Then the parts are
returned for engine build-up and sent back to D.N.D. for completing
the chopper buildup. With a turn of the rear belt drive pully, you can
turn over the knuckle engine. The rocker arms actually push the valves
open. (this is cool stuff) The Knuckle Chopper is so unique and trick
that in 2000, Harley Davidson commissioned Don Nowell to build a red
and yellow bike for their new museum. That's about as good as it gets. |
